Wireless Sensor Measurement is simple with the ROI-RFX wireless sensor signal conditioners. The ROI-RFX will allow you to read multiple temperature sensors with the same measurement module.
ROI-RFX Wireless Sensor modules contain an analog sensor to digital signal conditioner (ADC) for temperature sensor signals from standard 10K Ohm NTC Thermistors, or 4-20mA signals from a variety of sensor transmitters. The sensor outputs are converted to digital signals and scaled into engineering units to be read by a host computer. Sensors can be connected directly to the device to simply and accurately perform a measurement.
Wireless Sensor Measurement modules perform all signal conditioning, the sensor to digital conversion and produces a digital data output. The data values are transmitted to a host computer using hex data serial protocol via a separate serial port cable, usable as part of a simple sensor data acquisition system.
When you need to take a sensor measurement across a road, wireless connection is a simple way to bypass obstacles. Water, road, and difference in height become simple to deal with. You just need to have the antennas in line of sight.
