Real-Time Sensor Data to Excel
SensorVue is the simple way to get sensor readings directly into Excel. Thermocouples, RTDs, thermistors, voltage, current, load cells and strain gages connect to the iNet-650, and their live, scaled readings appear in your spreadsheet as they are measured.
SensorVue is designed as a simple program for getting precision sensor measurements into Excel without programming. Each iNet-650 channel is set up once, with a sensor type, label, engineering units and scaling, then passed to Excel using DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange). The values update in their cells in real time, so your own formulas, charts and reports update with them while the test runs.
Because the iNet-650 conditions the sensor itself, with 24-bit measurement and thermocouple cold-junction compensation, there is no meter or serial instrument in between and no data strings to parse. The number that reaches Excel is already the temperature, pressure or load you want.

- Value rules that behave like extra channels: difference between two channels (ΔT), averages, rolling averages and drift from a saved baseline.
- Logic rules that compare a channel or value to a limit and combine conditions with AND and OR.
- Digital outputs. Assign a logic rule to one of the iNet-650’s 4 lines to switch a relay, beacon or PLC input.
- Hysteresis so a value sitting on a limit does not toggle the output.
- On and off delays so a condition must hold for a set time before it counts.
- Enable conditions so a rule is only checked while the equipment is running.
- Sensor-fault state when a thermocouple opens, with a chosen safe state for the output.
